Cliftonville Crafters

Cliftonville Crafters started in 1993. Originally, they got together "just for a chat" and found that some were interested in Patchwork. The ones with the knowledge taught the others. The Group also enjoys making cards, crochet and similar craft activities.

Members meet in each others homes, which means that numbers have to be limited to six or seven people. They also attend and enjoy the Thanet Quilters Meetings three times a year.

Group members regularly help worthy causes. Projects include providing the Demelza House children's hospice with a quilt and making smaller baby quilts for the Maternity Unit at the local Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital. Another quilt has helped a breast cancer charity's fundraising.

Where we meet: In each others houses on a rota.

When we meet: Every Thursday, 2pm - 4.30pm.
